Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) arranged a sharing meeting in collaboration with Bangladesh Adibashi Nari Network titled as Indigenous women's role in customary law on 8th December 2012 at Rangamati Regional Council auditorium. Mr. Snehakumara Chakma of Regional Council was the chief guest and Mr. Sajib Chakma, Assistant information and publicity secretary of Ancholik Porishad was the special guest in the session. The session was moderated by Ms. Madhabi Lata Chakma, Presedient of Parbatta Chattagram Mahila Samati. The total number of participants was 49. Advocate Ms. Sushmita Chakma presented a research paper and discussed various aspects of customary law with the present community people of Chakma, marama, Tripura, pankhoya, bama, tancangya. Deputy Director Ms. Shahnaz Sumi and Coordinator Ms. Dilara Rekha represented from Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS).
