Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) organised 20 middle age women group members from Dhaka West Centre received month long Nurshing Assistant training supported by Humanity Beyond Barriers (HBB) and Model Livestock Advancement Foundation (MLAF). The course held at the National Center for Control of Rheumatic Fever & Heart Disease of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, Dhaka from 26 January to 25 February 2019.

Dr. Durre Chowdhury of HBB, Dr. Professor Salma Jerin, Director, National Center for Control of Rheumatic Fever & Heart Disease and Mr. Mahfuzul Bari Chowdhury, Director, BNPS spoke in the ineguration session among others held on 26 January 2019. The training was a combination of theory and practice. As it was government hospital based training participants had the opportunity to visit indoor patients to gain practical knowledge apart from classroom sessions.

In this closing event on 25 February 2019, every guests highly appreciated and thanked participants for their active participation and performance. All discussants including chair and participants of the event thanked Ms. Rokeya Kabir, the Executive Director, BNPS for providing necessary support to 20 trainees for participating and completing the event successfully. Trainees were provided certificate and appron.
