Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha on 18 May, 2011 demanded adequate budgetary allocation for implementation of National Women Development Policy 2011. Addressing a press conference at national press club, BNPS leadership said that adequate budgetary allocation is important for immediate execution of middle and long-term work plans for women development. Every ministry should set specific goals for women development as well as work out monitoring system for implementing their various projects. The government should ensure equal opportunities, wges and safety for women in work places, they said, demanding setting up of daycare centers and separate toilets for women at every workplace.
