The project works to improve women's and girl's access to resources and opportunities by increasing individual and collective capacity through the practice of transformative leadership within a safe an enabling environment. The project is a part of BPRM, a larger program that has been implementing by the NGOs with support from IRC. BNPS is involving 5850 adolescent and young girls, female caregiver, male caregivers, boys and men including community leaders in prevention and protection of VAWG in Rohingya Camp 16 and host communities in Ukhiya Upazila under Cox's Bazar district.
To improve SRHR knowledge and reduce Gender Based Violence (GBV) and to promote responsive behavior among the girls and boys, women and men; the project activities are embedded with comprehensive training packages for the targeted population addressing with Girls Shine and EMAP module.

PEACEBUILDING IN A PANDEMIC: Empowering Women to Promote Social Cohesion and Prevent Terrorism and Violent Extremism in the Context of COVID-19; in January - March 2021 UN Women supported efforts to strengthen capacity of women and CSOs at grassroots and national level to contribute to the implementation of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security (NAP WPS). A total of 60 women participants from 15 districts and another 60 women from Peace Café representatives (university level young women) were provided a three-days training on Women Peace and Security including NAP WPS. Another eight consultations were held at district and national level to share the NAP WPS and discuss means of effective implementation from a civil society perspective, with over 120 participants in total including representatives of CSOs, women-led organizations, government officials, academics and media. Developed a bilingual booklet in Bengali and English on NAP WPS to share 3000 copies among the stakeholders during training and orientation. Organized 2 TV talk shows and publish a newspaper supplement based on national network event on NAP WPS for wider dissemination and mass awareness.
