A TV talk show broadcasted on gender parity and girls’ educational situation of Sandwip and Patiya on 16 July 2012 in Desh TV. Mr. Shamsul Haq Chowdhury, honorable MP of Patiya, Dr. Sirajul Islam, health expert and Proffessor Meshbah Kamal, Researcher, attended that discussion. The TV talk show had created awareness among citizens, sensitized the government agencies and MPs and created some pressure of public opinion on the respective authorities.
